Click on the Apple menu. Select
System Preferences and then click on the Network
icon.
Select Modem from the Configure pull
down.
2. Next, click on the PPP tab next to the TCP/IP
tab. Fill in your Account name (login/user name)
and Password into the spaces provided. Next, enter
the-wire dialup phone number:
343-2365 for Lake County

If
you do not want to fill in your password each time
you connect, click on Save password.
3. Click the apply now button in the lower right
of the Network Preference and quit System Preferences.
Connect
1. Open the Internet Connect Application on your Computer. The default location
is in the Applications Folder.
Select Modem from the Configuration pull down.
The information you entered in the Network System Preference should be
visible in the Internet Connect window.
2. Check the
box that says "Show modem status in menu bar."
3. To connect just hit the connect
button
4. From now on, all you have to do to connect is
select the dialup icon in the menu bar and select
"Connect."
